What is Working Connections Child Care (WCCC)?
The Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) program offers financial support to eligible families, helping to cover the cost of childcare while parents are working, job hunting, or participating in approved educational or training programs. By reducing childcare costs, the WCCC program empowers parents to focus on their professional growth and family well-being.

How to Apply for the WCCC Program:
Applying for childcare assistance through the WCCC program is easy:

1. Determine Your Eligibility: Review the income and work or educational requirements for the WCCC program on the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) website.  Click Here to See if You Qualify
2. Submit Your Application: Apply online or contact the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to begin the application process.  Click Here to Apply
3. Select Close Reach Academy Kirkland: Once approved for the WCCC subsidy, choose Close Reach Academy Kirkland as your preferred childcare provider. Our team will guide you through coordinating the subsidy with your enrollment.

Close Reach Academy Kirkland offers a variety of programs to suit the needs of different age groups:

• Toddler Program (1 - 3 years): Encouraging social interaction, language skills, and physical development through play-based learning.
• Preschool Program (3 - 6 years): Preparing your child for kindergarten with a focus on early literacy, math, and critical thinking skills.

Hours of Operation Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 6:00 pm, offering Full-day care options for children ages 1 - 6 years-old.

2024-2025 Tuition Rates 
Toddlers 1 - 3* years-old
$2421 per month / 4-5 days of care per week
*until potty-trained and graduated to the preschool class.
Preschoolers 3 - 6 years-old
$2297 per month / 4-5 days of care per week
*Part-time spots are offered to preschool-age children only.
Part-time care is $150 per day with a minimum of two days a week.
Part-time care is full-day up to 10 hours.

Sibling Discount - Full-time Students Only
Additional siblings receive a 10% discount on tuition rates, applied to the equal or lesser tuition amount(s), not the primary tuition.
